Dr. Karin Schubart

Dr. Karin Schubart

completed her Master's degree in molecular biology and human genetics at Komensky University in Bratislava, Slovakia. She then accomplished her PhD in genetics at the University of Basel. This PhD thesis on B lymphocyte development and transcriptional regulation of immunoglobulin genes, conducted at the Friedrich Miescher Institute, was published Nature Immunology.

Between 2004 and 2018, she worked as a project manager and project leader in the R&D department of PAION Deutschland GmbH and at InVivo BioTech Services GmbH in Berlin. Her responsibilities at PAION included the investigation of immunogenicity of a product in clinical phase II and monitoring of comparability studies of different production batches of an investigational product used in clinical trials.

The focus of her work at InVivo was on leading projects in the field of blood coagulation with the aim of developing new diagnostic tools, as well as on the production development of a recombinantly produced protein and the development of ELISA-based immunoassays under ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

Since 2019, Dr. Schubart extends the expertise of our team in the areas of project management and execution of clinical trials of the EU-funded consortia we accompany (e.g.
